UI Page to update the Quantity field on alm_asset

Hello.

I am hoping someone can help give me some direction. I have a UI action that opens a UI Page for a user to enter in a value to update the quantity field for the quantity field on Consumables.

There are certain locations that return Consumables and want to keep their stockrooms up-to-date.

I open the UI page that allows the person to enter in the return, say its 5. I then want to update the quantity field.

How do I then use this value in the processing script?

Any examples would be appreciated.
